Hey everyone,

With the upcoming Beta and shortly after the release, it will make it easier to have a visual representation of your profession (class in GW2) as well. That is where the poll comes in! :)

Pick your profession, chose your destiny!

nautix... it is impossible for me to answer this poll properly without breaking the internet...

You should know by now I am an alt-o-holic when it comes to Guild Wars 2 and will probably end up with four characters.

That is why I enabled only one vote per person, basically just vote for what will be your first profession. Or what you think will be your first profession. ;)

Fine... since your limiting us to only one vote I'm picking Mesmer.

Probably going to end up alternating between my Sylvari Mesmer and Norn Warrior when the game is out.

I picked Guardian, i think it will be an under utilized class with a majority of ppl choosing mesmer or necro. should have good magic defense and smash clothies up close.

Guardian is the most support oriented profession of GW2 since it is a combination of the Monk and Paragon from Guild Wars 1. A lot of their skills revolve around bouncing damage back to the enemies, setting them on fire, or creating bubbles and controlling the battlefield. Actually does look like a fun profession but I'm sticking with the Mesmer since it was my favorite profession in the first game.

Nope. You've gone from being undecided on eight professions to only six. Still have to decide between Warrior, Elementalist, Thief, Ranger, Necromancer, and Engineer...

I have a solution... make one of each :P

 I voted Thief as it appeals to me the most so far, by a slim margin over Engineer. I thought Mesmer would hold an edge for me from GW1 days, but the ability videos swayed me for now.

I voted Warrior as of now but I will be (hopefully in a beta...) trying out Theif and Ranger as well to see if I like either of them more.
