Elementalist is alright once you get a staff. Then you can shoot fireballs and have a spell another spell that rain down fireballs and then another special one that allows you to have even more fireballs from the sky if fire is your element so I do enjoy it once you get a staff

I loved the elementalist. Between the elements and the weapons, you are about as versatile as you can get. I hated guardian, going to give warrior a shot next BWE.
On a side note: "Along with that, versatility with weapons is hindered seeing that you cannot switch weapons in combat..." This is not true, as you can swap weapons during combat, they just have a timer as to how often you can swap between your weapons. (You unlock this feature at lvl 7)
There is so much to do in GW2 I had a chance to do a few structured pvp matches which were a blast! I spent at least half of my total play time in open world v world which brought back a lot of DAOC memories. Crafting is fun, addictive, and will require real time and effort like it was in DAOC. Those that make it to mastery will have certainly earned it, and I am certain there will be a large variety of items and gear recipes that we will discover. Overall, very impressed with GW2 and see this as a long term game play experience. I have a few!My Mesmer: Miss Martini
Big pink Norn. A snowflake drifted right in front of the "lense" as I took the shot which made it looks like I'm wearing a mask.
