10-hour days! I hear ya. I also do long shifts, 12 hours. I guess it pays off in the end though, only having to work three days a week! However, luck was not on my side this week. The three days I have to work are during the entire BWE! Maybe I will develop a horrific cough. . . .

I feel ya..I also work 12 hour days..but nice to work 3 days and off the rest of the week. Only bad thing is right now my schedule is working Friday through Sunday night and getting off at 7am Monday morning. But the way I look at it is that I have all week to get things done and will have more time to play GW2 when it drops. Bad thing is, I am going to miss out on a lot of sleep during Beta weekends lol

Hey everyone.

My name is Dre. I play out of Canada !! (fyi my first char will be a Norn coincidentally lol). I am looking for an active guild for me and my 2 cousins to join. I love to PvE while lvling up but as an end game i will be doing lots of W v W so looking for a W v W focused guild. Hopefully i have found it now!

Also fyi i will be playing D3 so would be nice if members here are also planning to play that.

A few quick questions.

How was ur server over the weekend, population wise and performance wise as far as lag and W v W control? And are you planning to stay there?

Hey & welcome to the community!

We have chosen our last bwe server just as a meeting point with our allies. On Sunday we ended up controlling the middle and started going into red.
Our primary goal so far seems to be WvW.

There is an unofficial thread of people playing D3 and most of us are looking quite forward to it!

If you have any other questions freel free to PM me and I am sure we can get them answered!

The server was really awesome, as one of our posts in general was going over how refreshing it was to get a "thank you" from downed allies when you revived them, that was a common theme and fits real nice with us Guardians. I do hope they do something though with increasing the /local chat...it only reaches to your immediate area. its not a true /ooc for zone/world wide.

performance wise, i had no issues, and I logged on for hours at a time. i did crash a couple times, but was my fault both times...alt tabbing to fast or something.

TG was running the WVW on a regular basis, we took a lot, we lost a lot, we defended more then we had to attach keeps. I think we left a mark for many to remember.

I've been looking through your site and forums and you seem like a very organized and professional guild that I would really like to be a part of.

I've been playing MMOs now for years, from co-leading a pretty successful raiding guild in WoW, to doing Realm v Realm in Warhammer, and playing Aion, Rift, SWTOR, and just about every other big MMO that has come out. I've been looking for a guild to be able to call home for some organized pvp (WvW is amazing!) and a good group of guys and gals to run dungeons with.

I'm putting in an application right now, and I will also have my roommate put in an application. I look forward to hearing back from you guys.

Hello Guardians,

I submitted an application and I wanted to introduce myself. Currently I am the leader of the largest PVP kinship (guild) in Lord of the Rings Online - on the largest NA server. My friends and I will be playing GW2 for our next MMO and we would like to join a professional - established gaming community. All aspects of the Guardians are impressive from the history - to the codes - to the forums and we hope to be a valuable addition to the community.

My friends and I have developed team tactics over the years in PVP that we would like to share and would also love to learn from others. In GW2 - BWE#1 and the Stress Test - I was able to achieve over 20+k glory and I am looking forward to Launch when I can delve into the personal story for PVE (don't want to jump into for beta yet - to keep the surprise element). Looking forward to leveling with friends and being a part of the Guardians in PVE dungeons and WvW!

I and my friends look forward to being a part of your great gaming community!

McCloud, I had issues with reading the letters as well (I'd like to think it was due to my extraordinary reading capacity, but will most likely chalk it up to old age

) You are right the audio files do not play when launched. (At least not in Firefox.)

However, the secondary browser window that is opened when you choose to listen to the audio has an option at the bottom to play the files with Windows Media Player. I selected this, and when the download window popped up I chose to Open the file with Windows Media Player instead of the option right below it to Save the file.

This will open the audio file up in WMPlayer as a loop, so you dont have to worry about downloading or playing it again. And when you're done simply close out WMPlayer.
