I'm all for giving 'Isle of Janthir' a try but I really would love to run through World vs World PvP with some old time Dark Age of Camelot vets who are rolling on Sorrow's Furnace.

  I used to play DAOC all the time, since launch in fact. If there is a chance for that I'm all for it

Yea... As Joe said, I'm giving Isle of Janthir a chance this weekend to see how the server community holds up in World vs World PvP. However... looking at the list of where some communities have gone I'm not really sure but here's hoping the community of Isle of Janthir proves me wrong.

Was looking forward to Yak's Bend and Tarnished Coast though; perhaps they could be considered at a later date?

Ah, thanks very much for that Nautix, appreciate the explanation. The Isle it is! Hopefully our PvP-might can tarnish some coasts and bend some yaks.

While I am glad that the "this game is better than that game" bashing has ceased, now it seems as though people are acting like 3 year olds stomping their feet because they did not get their way.

It is beta. This is where we aid the developers with the game. The division lead made a choice, and before you have even seen the server and the folks on the server you whine about it and how terrible it is. (Not all, but many)

My suggestion which you can take or leave, is jump on the game this friday and have fun with it. Make us Guardians look good. Stand with the guild rather than against. Forget the mumble vs. Ventrilo mumbo jumbo and the this server is better than the rest stuff, and just enjoy the game with your friends. Report bugs and suggestions. Take screenshots to show your guildies and if we find that we need to make a change, I am sure it will happen.

So rather than Guardians complaining about the way, lets Lead the Way.

I am completely shocked that you are not only insulting, but name calling people for voicing their opinion.

I believe that "Lead the way" also means standing up for what you believe in. I have reviewed every single forum post about this topic. Almost every single one provides a reason for why they wanted a different server. In fact, many of them said "I will go where ever TG goes BUT.." or "I love TG and will stay with the guild BUT.."

I voiced my opinion about why I thought a different server would be a good decision. Are you trying to tell me that as long as I am in The Guardians that I can never speak out against a leaders decision? I can not post my opinion?

I am sorry if this is passionate but for a grown adult, you should not be insulting your fellow Guardians for voicing their thoughts.

And to the "This is just beta" argument. The truth is, a majority of players and guilds will end up remaining on the same server for launch as they do for Beta. I am completely okay with going to the isle realm that was chosen because that is where my guild goes and I love this guild. If I want to post on our website my thoughts about it I expect to not be chastised.

This forum post will probably make me not liked among this division. If that is the case then it may be best for me to move on.
