Hey guys,

I think I messaged one of your members on the GW2 Guru forums with my... dilemma.  Basically, my friends and I (there are about 12 of us, 5-7 usually on any given night) are looking to transfer to IoJ.  We were originally planning on staying a small guild of friends/family, but it's getting difficult to do anything if even just a couple people can't or don't want to log on.   I'm coming to you guys in hopes you could help us find a home for us.

There are a few reasons we want to transfer here from Gates of Madness.  We only enjoy working with a couple guilds from our server, and don't vibe with the rest.  WvWvW has large gaps of no players in borderlands between 2am and 3pm EST on weekdays.   There are hackers on GoM that contribute a little too much to the servers overall ranking. 

We are hoping that our group of players could benefit IoJ in the 3pm-11pm EST time slot, as I understand you guys are lacking WvWvW players during that time on the server.  We typically would like to merge with a similar sized or slightly larger guild, but are not opposed to large guild.  We love to WvWvW, but would also like to do dungeons and tPvP a night or 3 a week without feeling pressured to help out in WvWvW (we will spend most of our time in the borderlands though).   Whichever guild we end up in has to understand that we are all old friends going back 10+ years and spanning multiple games, and we may sometimes seem like we only play with each other.  Not all of us are outgoing and willing to join up with just anyone, but I think enough of us are that we would be a welcomed addition to any guild.

So, do you guys think you could help us out?  Could you recommend some guilds for us to check out in addition to yours?  I want the fit to be right for both parties, so I'm trying to find as many options as possible. 

We plan on transferring over this weekend between Saturday 5pm EST and Sunday 10pm EST.

To be completely honest, I think youll find what your looking for here.  I havent been with the guild an incredibly long time, but in every game Ive played with The Guardians Ive felt completely at home in a no pressure environment.  There are people ranging from the casual to the hardcore and a good mix in between.  There are some hardcore PVPers that are casual PVE and vise vera.  All have a place and all are welcome here.

I cant recommend any other guild because I dont have enough knowledge about them.  But I can divert you to http://www.isleofjanthir.net . Its mainly a WvW alliance but there are several guilds that recruit there, and you may find something that suits you.

We have quite a few active WvW people during that time and definitely do not force anything on our members.
The way we look at things is that we are all here to have fun and enjoy the game.
