I personally didn't see the value of it, the biggest perk is the Rytlock minipet imo.  You get temporary bonuses for 5 days or so, and some accessories (gear) that will last you to level 30ish.  This is from memory when I was debating this in like March- so someone else feel free to fill in what may have changed.

Kinda agree, I rarely use the mist wolf which I thought was like the imp in GW1. But since the wolf is an elite you don't get it until level 30 and even then its really just "so/so". The mini is cool and the +2 all stats ring you get is a nice (but really not noticeable) addition.

Overall I think DD was a bit of a let down. Up to you if you think it was worth it or not but I was slightly disappointed.

I only bought the standard edition but I've considered upgrading with Gems as well.  The only part I want of the Deluxe is the Rytlock mini but that alone isn't worth 2000 gems.  Especially since the minis end up back in the bank as soon as I hit "deposit all collectibles".

You can grab an invisible bag and that problem shouldn't occur.

Invisible bags are great! They don't sort/compact, they don't auto-send to bank with the rest of your collectibles, and they don't show to vendors.  I use it for my pets, back up weapons, and things I like the look of for transmuting later.
