Introduction Dbach

Hello everyone my name is Marc and I am applying to the Guardians. My reason for applying to this guild is because it seems like it has very good moral values and seems like a very stable and reliable guild that likes to have fun.

A little about me. Im 26 years old and I was born and raised in Germany (yes i speak fluent German) I just medically retired out of the Army due to a injury i sustained during the war and will be a stay at home dad while i go to college to get a BS in IT. I have been married for 5 years and currently have a 6 month old son. I have been playing video games for about 20 years now and started MMO's during the WoW beta.  Since then I have tried other MMO's such as Rift, Warhammer online, Aion and SWTOR but never enjoyed any of them as much as WoW. I quit World of Warcraft about 6 months ago because I just wasn't having fun anymore.  I have played all 3 BWE of GW2 and loved every minute of it and I know this is the new game for me. In Gw2 I plan on playing a Thief and my main interests are structured PVP and lots of WvW. While I wait for release I am pretty much just playing some Minecraft and a few Xbox games here and there. I hope I will get a chance to get to know all of you guys a little better and am looking forward to (hopefully) enjoying some GW2 with you guys. Cheers

Welcome to the forums! I quit WoW at about the same time as you (even though they are still getting a sub from me...dang annual pass hah! That'll be over in a month or so.) Seems to be quite a few military folks around that you'd probably have a lot in common with.
 I know a few of us are on Rift, and larger portion play SWTOR / WoW if you need something to sustain you for that last month until our beloved Guild Wars. Be sure to check out the PvP section as I believe Snissel is putting together a WvW team, and I know Voa is very excited about structured PvP (among others)

Welcome to the forums and the community. TG is chock full of excellent people and you have found what your looking for. There are quite a few military members both former and current here as well.

So if anyone tells you they need you to get some chemlight batteries well you know how to respond to that lol :o
