Woooooooooooo! Completed a mission finally and made some creds. I can get Pistols I now to hopefully make those missions a bit easier now. :D

Guide to Food and Drink

1. If you have food, eat it.

2. If you have drink, drink it.

Food and drink do multiple things in the game, but the main thing they do is to increase one or multiple areas of your stat pool. The more you eat and drink, the better off you'll be on the battlefield. And you can eat and drink more than one item. If you open your character sheet (ctrl+C) you'll see you have an area dedicated to showing how "full" you are showing a bar for food and a bar for drink. You can eat and drink until those pools are filled up and the benefits from the food and drink stack.

So, if you have five drinks that add 30 points each to your Mind Pool, you could effectively drink all five and add 150 points to your mind pool, if those five drinks don't max out your drink bar. You can also eat food concurrently to add even further benefits.

Food is possibly one of the most diverse crafting professions in the game as it uses nearly every element available in game from the obvious materials like fruits, vegetables, grains, water and meat to less obvious like metals for cups and some explosive gasses used in making some alcoholic drinks in higher tier chef trees.

WE HEE HEEEEE.  I jus ttook some artisan missions dren.  For 60 iron and 55 iron, I'll net around 1200 creds... which will pay for my first level on engineering.  I gotta build us some resource extractors.  :)

Found an iso and downloading now. Hopefully I'll have it working tonight.

What crafting professions are we lacking? I'd like to pick up something we need.

We pretty much have every profession taken in guild, but it never hurts to have multiple crafters.  ;D

I must say I am thoroughly enjoying the game. though it has lag issues sometimes and everything isn't in yet it is definitely playable. It is scary and sad that I have had more fun in this mmo then a fair amount of other and the friggin game is ancient.

I'm going to bug Athyr about getting a sub forum set up for us!

These are things I can't get on my own, but are used in various foods that I can already create. Just hit DA3. One more Tier and I'll be able to get Novice Chef.

I gave Chobo 14K of wooly (pretty sure it was Rori wooly) hide last night. You might check with him to see if he's got any leftovers.
