Quarry setup for your Mining Turtles!
1. Make a Wireless Mining Turtle
2. Plop it down where you want to start your quarry
3. Place a chest directly behind the turtle
4. Place another chest directly left of the turtle (place fuel in this chest)
5. Right click on the turtle and type:
rom/programs/http/pastebin get JAaS8j1P OreQuarry
Hit enter
(This is the quarry program itself)
6. Type:
label set nameofyourturtle
Hit enter
(This stores the programming on your turtle for the next time you want to use it)
7. Place 1 Smooth stone in the upper left (1st) inventory slot of your turtle. Place 1 Dirt in the 2nd slot of your turtle. Place a stack of fuel in the very last (bottom right) inventory slot. Place a wooden chest in the 2nd to last (left of fuel slot) inventory slot.
The first two are filters. The turtle will ignore these on its journeys unless it has to dig through them to get where its going. (In other words you will get cobble and dirt just not assloads of it like a quarry would give you)
The wooden chest is also a filter telling the turtle to take anything out of a chest that it may find in the dark depths of your quarry.
The last slot is of course your fuel for the turtle.
8. Type:
OreQuarry x y
x= the dimensions of your quarry ex. 64x64 (like a real quarry)
y= level at which the turtle is operating on (the number in () on your minimap)
ex. OreQuarry 64 50
The turtle will do a 64x64 quarry starting at elevation 50 all the way down to bedrock
9. Hit Enter!!! You're done!!! Sit back and watch your diamonds flow in!!!
(It would be wise to place a chunk loader near where your turtle starts and set it to 4 or 5 chunks (square) depending on the size of your quarry)
