Anyone know how I can get into the beta? I don't care if it's not in english!
I'm starting a new character for funzies to experience all the graphical updates and new combat system. Also since Runescape 3 was announced. If anyone wants to create a character with me, I'll be on at 12:15 AM central time tonight. (midnight)
Runescape is a browser based fantasy medieval MMORPG that is extremely addicting. If you want more information on it, let me know
I live in the same city as Richard and also work in the video game industry. From my perspective - he is right about many people choosing the design path as a last resort choice because they want to be a game developer. Some people are not cut out for programming or art. Those people end up being in Production, PR, Marketing or Design. This is NOT true for all designers. There are a lot of INCREDIBLE designers out there. He is speaking way to broadly and he comes off as an extremely rude individual. I have to be honest and say that the post came off extremely conceited and arrogant. Some of the things he is saying have some truth to them, but a majority was just plain unnecessary.
There is no need to insult your fellow colleagues and I can guarantee you that many of Garriots projects were created with the help of a full team of designers to which he is relinquishing all credit.
The bottom line is - There are a lot of amazing designers out there, and there are a lot of crappy ones. As in EVERY JOB - you will always have different levels of experience/skills.
Richard is working on a new RPG. All I have to say is that it better be EXTREMELY good or this article is going to backfire in his face.
Amazing guild dimension... O.O
I have been strongly considering playing Rift. Last time I played it was when it was in Beta, years ago. The reason I am so interested is because of PLAYER HOUSING!
I have wanted a game with player housing.
Any pros or cons to joining and playing again? Is it dying off? Is there a good sized population still? Details! Thanks

This blew my mind. I am new to Reddit and this is my second post ever. I posted a picture of me and a buddy of mine. It was a saturday afternoon and us 3 guys were chillin! My buddy Derrick(Fellow Guardians member "Vindico") was practicing his proposal when I surprised him by putting on his gf's clothes. It was just a joke and we both laughed about it for a while.
Any way - I posted a picture of him practicing his proposal and OVERNIGHT it went viral...
