NCSoft has not sent any retailer the box for any version of Guild Wars 2. It won't happen till April 10th.
Just want to add in a few points here:
- On April 10th, when you pre-purchase all you get is a code. Nothing more.
- When the game launches, then you get the box and everything else (had you gone with a physical copy).
- Collector's Edition box is way bigger than that (it needs to be able to include a 10 inch statue).
Oh I know he didn't get his full box just the pre-purchase box but still :O I want mine lol

Martini, I played with you a bit in TOR and you strike me as a Sylvari Ranger type.
For flexibility, the Engineer will be able to use any of the classes elite abilities. Now that sounds cool!
Hopefully, this game will pique our interest long enough that we'll feel compelled to try out all of the races and classes eventually. I certainly have at least four that I want to explore fully. I was the same way in TOR, but it started feeling very repetitive so I didn't finish more than one class storyline.
Thanks! I do love the ranger, one of my top 3 choices actually. Plus I RP one of my toons (aka alter egos) as a ranger/hunter.

Correct Tini... Just keep in mind that retailers cannot sell the pre-purchase for the GW2 CE prior to April 10.
Phew good news! I was worried if I purchased from an in-town retailer I would miss out on part of the headstart and such. But awesome I'll be there ASAP on the 10th to pre-purhase!

@Martini, yes, pre-purchase can be done two ways:
- if you want to go digital you are stuck with either the Standard or Deluxe edition and you have to go direct through ArenaNet / NCSoft
* retailers are not selling digital copies of the game
- if you want a physical copy of the game depending on which retailer you go to you can get either the Standard, Deluxe, or Collector's edition
* there is no way to get a physical copy of the game direct from ArenaNet / NCSoft
@CharrBroiled, well officially by ArenaNet it's said to be the end of April. Most people are guessing April 20th since the beta tests from January, February, and March have all been the third weekend of the month.
Ahh I see so if I want a CE I'll have to get it elsewhere (aka not Anet).
