awesome to hear Dak. I am very excited for the first to get here. I am thinking that maybe next wednesday night if any of you are on we can get together in groups of four and run some FP's and hardmode FP's. This will get us some loot to be even better off in EV and will provide us with some experience together.

A lot of the raiding and sign ups happen on this forum. Originally it was to gauge interest and the folks in charge of groups started to meter people out as interest was voiced. In some cases there are folks that can make 1 night and folks are switched around when they can be.

Looks like Duck's will be on it's way soon enough. Crazy thing is, we have a bunch of folks coming up on 50 soon. We'll probably have even more groups going. Go Guardians !

Taven you are more than welcome to sign up for this. As for the others all you have to do is post on the forums for them and make sure that Barnaby and Hayt know you are interested. I know they have had to scramble a couple times to fill DPS spots so if you are on and have shown interest perhaps you can fill one of those spots if it operns. Also, like Makani said we have many people getting close to 50 so more raids will start up. I am actually spilitting this one into two groups once we have enough, the otehr will be led by A'thyr. Then once we are all geared we will combine the two and run some 16 mans. I have added you to the list though, if you choose to run with one of the other groups instead, just let me know.

I am trying to get a group together this Wednesday (1-25-2012) to run a warm up of Eternity Vault. I am just nabbing a few people so that should we have enough for two groups come February 1st, I can add people from the warm up group to each so we have some experienced players who will know what to expect. This will increase our chances of success which increases our chances of hot loot.

I wanted to tell you all so you did not think you were being left out. I WILL get everyone I can into raid content at some point. As it looks right now we are pretty close to having enough for 2 groups on the 1st of feb.

If you are interested in running in the warm up group, some people may be unable to make it so I will place you on the stand by list. I will let you know by PM or in game if I need you.

Also please do your best to have level 50 equipment. This is easily done by running quests, scouring the market, Commendation vendors,  or having someone craft you up some gear and mods. Plus if you need someone to run some high end heroic quests with you let me know and I will join you if possible. They usually have great gear rewards if completed.

If we do not have enough to make a group I plan on trying to run some hardmodes this Wednesday night. This will be the case anytime we cannot make a full group. If we only have enough for one group for one night, the others should group together for hardmodes. This will keep everyone busy and getting good gear regardless of what they are running.

One last note. GET MUMBLE! if you do not have mumble yet please have it installed and ready to go. You do not have to talk, but you must be able to hear.

Mumble infor can be found here.

If you have any questions or comments just ask. also Spread the word in game. There are still some spots open and the more we have the more groups we can make to make sure everyone gets into Ops content faster.

I'd like to hop in on this as DPS if there is any room.  I know DPS is usually the roll that fills up most quickly but I'll bring my Sent once I hit 50 (hopeing I have some significant play time to get there soonish).  I'll be like Dren...a fill in when I finally get there.

...

If I'm around I may pop in the mumble channel if that's okay. I'm sure there will be people going with you that know the fights/etc . . . but just in case y'all have any questions, etc . . .  I would be glad to describe the fights and/or strats we used . . . but only if asked . . .

I don't want to dominate your raid or tell you guys how to do it if you already have the knowledge/etc. Just showing up for support and help if it's needed.

Good luck !

Duck, I think I've mentioned this in-game, but I would like to be considered for DPS (Brekken), as your group most closely accommodates PST.  However, I will be unable to join the inaugural raid on the 1st as I am heading to Salt Lake City to find snow.   ;D

Good run tonight everyone, kudos to Duck and Dak for putting us together and walking us through. We will storm Bioware for this ill-fated 3% backhand to the face we got!!!

Yes, grats guys for a great run. I had to pop out of the mumble channel near the end so I never found out if you downed SOA or not, but sounded like you were certainly making progress which is wonderful.

Dak did a great job talking us all through what to expect and marking targets so you have  thanks Dak! Awesome work. I also want to thank the rest of the folks that helped out with the warm up run last night. It was just a warm up and we made it to Soa and got SOOOO close to downing him. We did not get him, but I was still left very content with our group. Dak, Eset, Taven, Brekken, A'thyr, Choboticus, and Lorimir did and awesome job and deserve a great amount of applause for rocking it last night!

If you have time this week pick up gear. You can do this by running hard modes or running PvP dailies/weeklies. trust me this IS worth it.

This next couple of days I will be working the group set up and trying to see if we can have enouygh for two groups come next Wednesday. I will also be crafting a bhoss cheat sheet for everyone to use so you know what to expect.

After last night I think we should have no problems downing the whole raid in 2 hours. So that is our goal time line (which I think we can actually beat).

Thanks again and if you have any questions or info let me know.
