Hey guys, in an effort to get to know you all better I thought it would be fun to bat around why your lay your AC, was it something in the movies, game play mechanic, or just a look of them in tier gear?

Ill start, I bought TOR with the intent to be a Jedi Sentinel, I went home loaded it up, and then saw the introduction movie, I fell in love with the gunslinger at that moment, he was goofy, witty, and tuff rolled into one to be the perfect Anti-Hero. And here I am now, (PS level 23 now almost 24!) Space Cowboy, taking women on every planet I come to, and Firing from the hip every chance I get.

So whats your deal?

When I heard Star Wars was coming out with a new MMO and I saw the classes available to play I knew right away that what I wanted was a Gunslinger. As you mentioned they are witty, funny, and they break hearts across the galaxy. I like Jedi's and sith, but I knew those classes were going to be overly played. I do wish they would have more smugglerish quests though.

I love my Jedi Consular. I wasn't sure which path I'd take as I started on her, but let's just say it's a surprise to no one (even non-gamers) that I play a healer. I also have a Smuggler (Jael) that I keep saying I'm going to be playing more, and I have another character in the works (VelvetPain - thank you Pie!!).

Because I'm a Scoundrel IRL and didn't want to have to think too hard about my character.   

You better come back and be a Scoundrel before that Hutt's Bounty gets too big!

I have a Razor naga, It takes a few days to get used to but is awesome once your used to it, I set all my action bar buttons to 1-= and do two bars with shift and alt modifiers.

I do the same thing exactly.Using only your thumb feels so good 

I started with the intention to play a Jedi sentinel, ended up switching to a Guardian, I just wanted to play the cliche good guy and save the galaxy, but I am looking forward to my gunslinger alt, looks like a lot of fun, they all do actually...I'm such a star wars nerd lol

Thats a problem I am having now, I want to play an alt once I hit around 40, but I don't know what to make, Consular is the closet to my normal MMO play style, but Jedi Knights get T7 and he is a spunky little guy...

Went with whatever would be tank! I love to tank! Being on the frontline, pulling the mob, helping my teammates........have a Jedi Knight tank, and a Vanguard that I'm working on. It just seems to fit me, I like to be in thick of everything and be there for those that need. Might ttry the other classes just cause, but will always tank.

And as a rule of thumb Tanks are never short on friends, now which do you like more, the Jedi or trooper?
