Wow those are powerful cards. I have 2 HD 6850 and I like them though I think nvidia would have been the better way to go. Do you not like them because they are ATI?

The reasons I'm not happy is Skyrim ran better on my 480GTX cards. I have been unable to play Skyrim since purchasing these cards. I also cannot play batman arkum asylum.

The games that do run, run very well.  Out of everything I purchased these were the most expensive items and I was the least happy with them. I guess thats why I'm angry.

I have always been a huge Nvidia diehard and someone convinced me to go ATI. Never again....

As far as the cost goes, I had a huge bonus this year at work so I spent 1/5th of it on a new PC and the rest went into savings toward the house. Speaking of that..I should update my house thread with current pics..I'll do that later.

wow dats really wierd how they couldnt run skyrim becuase even when i had my 8400 gs card i played skyrim maxed settings but played arkym city on low but stillslow but playable thats just wierd how they cant run skyrim and batman

Yeah you should see screaming performance on everything with two of those cards. My progression on video cards has been all Nvidia since I had an ATI card actually melt in my case. Now all I will buy is EVGA's Nvidia products. I recently upgraded my motherboard to compliment my single 680 and I'm amazed to see 60-80fps in pretty much everything. Including Tera, which surprises me since mmo's usually run a bit slower than single player games.

Hmm I was able to play Skyrim on my ATI cards with most things maxed out. Last time I had nvidia cards and ATI seemed better. This time I bought ATI and Nvidia seems better.

It's pretty gratifying to be honest. I have always had budget builds and even now I'm quite the thrifty shopper when in comes to components, but this year I said I wanted to have the latest gen gfx card. I don't regret the 500 dollars I spent for one minute.

Anything on TG that is Refurbed is marked as so in the title of the item. They only seem to sell Refurbed whole systems, tvs, laptops, and monitors. And again, they're marked as such.

thanks jeremy ;) but guys if i wanna buy a pc without building it should i get a pc with 3.0 ghz ++?? sorry i dont know alot alot about pcs but it seems the i3s or higher are good pcs
