Holy Hamilton!!!

What's bigger, or at least more rare, than a perfect game?  Four home runs in a single game and Josh Hamilton just did it tonight.  With a double in his 3rd at bat, he came two bases shy of what would have been the most amazing feat in the history of the game. 

This guy could have been one of the very top legends of the game if not for the injury he had when he was very young leading to his addictions.  Eff that, "WOULD have been".

I was listening to sports talk radio here in dallas the next day and they said that if you take that game and the game before into account regarding the total production for those at bats (i don't remember how many at bats it was off hand) that he tied a record last posted by Ty Cobb in 1925.

I have a baseball card with a piece of a jersey he wore in it.  I'm hoping 1.) he ends up being a legend and 2.) doesn't end up being another Barry Bonds.

Seeing as the perfect game came against my hapless mariners, i feel it should have an Astrix that says "this perfect game came against the worst offence in mlb.  Those guys should be in the minor leagues"
