For those interested in trying out the 3rd beta weekend this up coming weekend, you can get a free pass for it without pre-purchasing the game located below:

Supposedly they updated all of the animations / characters after what was seen in BW2 some weeks ago. I figured it would give some of us something to do while we wait for GW2 to announce their next BW.

Wasn't really interested but I'm up for giving it a shot. Easier to beta test a game you aren't scared of "ruining".

I will give it a shot this weekend. Hope its not another Hellgate London. Just my opinion. but no MMO is worth $15 a month.

So I must warn you all the player animations aren't the greatest but the character development system is awesome if you like to "build" your own classes. Eventually you will open all abilities and you can have multiple builds available to you on the fly.

Currently the beta is only one server (at least it has been for the previous 2 beta weekends).  I suspect the same will be true for this weekend.

Downloaded and logging in now. 

It appears there are actually 3 servers to choose from.  I'm going with the top one 'Chimaera'

I have to admit I'm very impressed with the first 10 seconds or so ;)

I gave the game another go last night and I'm still not feeling it. It seems like some of the animations were improved but I still get that blue screen feel when I run around. I can see some depth in the via the character progression, but I have to enjoy my character's animations and I still don't. Back to being bored lol

I'm actually liking it so far. The investigation quests are interesting and I like having to figure out what to do rather than just "run here and kill 10 zombies". 

The problem is I can't justify $60 plus the monthly sub. If it was F2P I'd definitely pick it up.
