So if I re-subbed to WoW

And used the rez scroll and got an 80 something, would ya'll play with me!? :D I used to have such fun playing WoW and would love to play with TG. but I'll need to get gear and blah blah...

The problem with this is, Blizzard still doesn't know who their target audience is. All the free level 80 character does is cater to casual players who never had a high level character (which alienates people who took the time and effort to level in the first place, who bought Cataclysm, etc.)...and all the free stuff screams is "WE NEED PLAYERS, WHY ARE WE LOSING PLAYERS." WoW is a dying animal - stop poking it with a stick and let it die already.

/sigh I agree.. Just read about the 600 layoffs and such kinda sad... :( I just wanted to once have a high level toon on WoW. :P

This is just an attempt to inflate the number of subscribers before a board meeting. Honestly it's tempting for someone like me and all the other serious players that left after before WotLK or Cata. I left the game just after the sunwell was released and never looked back. With the lull before guild wars 2 and on the loss of interest in SWtOR it is a well timed move for them. I don't think it's aimed at casuals instead it's an attempt to squeeze a few more months out of a few more people. Casual or Hardcore.

I have 3 accounts, if anyone wants to borrow one temporarily they can do so (you cannot borrow my main account, I have level 85's in it)...all you need to do is pay for the monthly fee.

I was thinking about gettin my WoW account back as well, just to mess around with my druid once again.  Swtor needs to do some serious fixing for it's end game, it's just so very, very not interesting and it's losing a ton of people because of that.

I don't think thats really the case, most likely the players your are loosing are just those players that try games for a couple of months and then move on.  If it were the case you would see many of our core members leaving.
