Saw you on, almost started messing with ya but I had company over most of the day. Watch those passenger missions, some have wanted people and some have you going over 1k LY.

Yeah I read that they're long missions. Though I was looking in some of the profiles of the passengers and they seem pretty safe.

There's supposedly a trick with them. If you are near the edge of inhabitable space and have two systems beside eachother surrounded by uninhabited systems, then the passenger missions always just run between the two. Even if they're 15LY apart. Apparently it was over used though, since all the passenger missions go to the same place so people were pulling 90+M an hour.

I'll still check it out though. Maybe grab a Cobra MK III and outfit it for passenger transport. Was just trying to get on but it seems the servers aren't cooperating. Will probably check it out tomorrow.

Blint is complaining about the credit acquisition in game, but really he just needs to get better and not splode as much! :)

So I tried out passenger transporting. It's not too bad. I saw some for 22,000 LY but they were the 20+M ones. Can easily find 20LY for 700k though. Seems pretty good.

indeed. I kit out an ASP and run those missions, 500k-900k for a single hop and land is just fine by me.

Frontier did however cut the number of missions you can hold at once from 20 to 3. While it doesn't directly bother me here, I used to mission gather at the edges of civilized space and the reduction severely reduces how much money you can make per hour. At this point they are making longer grinds with minimal rewards. It is already driving off some people. I don't play it hard core enough for it to bother me that much, but it does suck.

Yeah I've just been using a Cobra Mk III it hasn't been too bad. I did one that was 2.5M for one hour of work which was alright. Three sight seeing trips, did my first planet landing on that run too which was pretty cool. Definitely beats what I was making in a Type 6 doing rare trading.

I've been playing some, and I do like some of the changes that have come since I last played months ago, but it's still not deep enough to keep me playing for long. Still tons of potential.
