PVE Discussion / Re: Recommendation for Dungeon Nights?
« on: December 13, 2012, 10:08:05 PM »
As long as you're the right level, I don't see why you couldn't participate in the Explorable dungeons with them all. :)

Also, as long as one person has completed Story mode, everyone else in the group can join in their Explorable mode dungeon no matter what the others have done in terms of Story or Explorable.

Okay! After a bit of thinking, I have decided on a location for the Fashion Event: Scholar's Cleft Waypoint keep, located in Snowden Drifts.

So far, the projected prize pool (in terms of gold costs and prizes) for the three top contestants, who place first, second, and third place, is 30 gold total (which is close to triple the total amount spent on the last Fashion event)! :)

Don't forget to sign up as a contestant if you want to take the chance at the top prize! :) And if you want to judge, let me know so we can get you situated with the judging system.

Okay, so it's decided! The Mid-December (multi-community) Fashion Event will take place on Saturday, November 15th, at 11 PM EST. If you are interested in contending, let me know and I'll gladly add you to the roster! IF you would like to judge, please contact me ASAP so that I can get you acquainted with the system. Just remember, this event is about having fun with people, NOT specifically in the guild, to bring the Guild Wars 2 community together! Let us bring the community together, no matter what tag someone may claim- that is what is truly beautiful.

I didn't want to set a time or date until I got opinions on the matter. I am trying to set up a schedule for the event, and the event lies solely in what the people want. You may be right, though, about the matter that I should just set a time and date. I tried getting people's ideas in November and that didn't turn out so well due to a lack of responses, aside from a select few (in TG and OSD).

I'll think of a time and date (within the range mentioned in the survey) over the next few hours, and will report back to this thread directly.

This is a nice find! :) It's really cool to look at the specs of the guns every once in a while and get away from the perceptions made just from game play.

Thanks for the invite.

We will do our best to be there at the time of your choosing. Let us know if you need participant numbers before hand and I will do my best to provide that as soon as possible.

Thanks for the heads up and the invite, we really appreciate being included in it!

There is no real difference between the previous fashion events and this one, aside from the fact that TG was in the name of the earlier title (which caused confusion to begin with in my opinion). It's still the same fashion show like before, it just has a different name. I feel that thinking of it like something different from previously displayed would cause only more separation.

TG and OSD have been involved with the fashion events since day 1, I would be stupid to not involve them. :)

From what I've heard before, there's a lot of interest in the fashion events. I just need to know who wants to contend. People are free to come and go as they please; spectate whenever they want, for however long they want; but I would just like to know who is actually contending so that I can set up a list and make the event move more smoothly.

I'm also still looking for judges. I know I have people willing to judge if Friday is the day of the event, but cannot make it Saturday. If Saturday does turn out to be the day that the event takes place, I will still need judges.

So far, it seems as though 5 people from OSD (who, from the looks of it, are representing more people than just themselves on the choice) think that Saturday at 11 PM EST would work better than Friday. Thoughts?

Guild Wars 2 Roleplaying / Mid-December Fashion Event!
« on: December 04, 2012, 09:45:51 AM »
Hey everyone!

I have been working hard at alleviating my academic assignment load so that I could host an event. I will be able to host one this month, which is unlike what I mentioned in a previous thread in reference to the events. Due to the perceivable instance of people having plans later in the month, I am calling for an event sooner than not! This event will take place on Saturday, the 15th of December.

Let me know what you think! When a day is picked, I will announce the time of the event(it will most likely be 10 or 11 PM EST [so it is most probable that you can predict that outcome]). ;D

This month's theme will be Winter Extravaganza! So I whole heartedly expect to see your winter pride! If I see you walking through with flip flops, shorts, a tank top, and sunglasses so help me Grenth that I don't freeze you out.  :P

If you want to be a contestant of the event, please let me know here (or vote on the poll; I'll have access to the results). More contestants means more pre-holiday fun!

One thing that I will need, other than your votes, is judges. If you are interested, I will work with you to get you prepared for the event! I am looking for about 3 volunteer judges. Let me know if you are interested as soon as possible!

Any questions that you may have will be answered directly by me! I will gladly answer any question you may have, so don't be shy.  :)

General Discussion / Re: What video game would you use to train with?
« on: December 01, 2012, 12:19:50 PM »
Minecraft I could break trees with my hands and build anything my mind could think up.

And be able to respawn in your bed if you die? Sounds like a fine deal to me.

I would totally do a game like Champions Online (or other super hero game) or Dungeons and Dragons Online. I either want to fulfill my super hero desires of being a Telepathekenetic (made up word, apologies) beast or my dungeon crawling fame desires of being a Chaotic Neutral Elf Sorcerer (Mindbender [3.5 Complete Arcane Prestige])...

We're allowed to just gung-hoe answer it if we knew the answer?

Edit: I'm just plain out brain dead today I guess.

-Deleted content due to failing to read the rules- (FAIL) :'( <--- Failing to understand the rules that were failed to be read after forgetting to read the rules.

My brain hurts from trying to think about all the weird graphical stuff that was involved in the making of this, especially since I'm so technologically and artistically ignorant when it comes to most things. Great job Breeyn!

I would liek to but those friend keys only last for a couple of days, meh. Which they would just let me in beta. ;)

I bought the game, so I think I might (I have no clue) have a friend key? :)

Can one person use multiple keys? Bah. I'm getting so ahead of myself
