MONDAY NIGHT FLIGHT
04.17.17 @ 6pm Pacific

Pilot, marine, citizen, GUARDIAN! We need your participation in any or all of the following:

  • Arena Commander - A spacecraft simulation with multiple modes including fending off swarms of 'duul and pirates, dogfighting opposing players, or challenging them on the race track.
  • Star Marine - A battlefield where marines fend off enemies from control points or one vs all in elimination.
  • Crusader - Take your first steps into the greater Universe, taking on missions, eliminating threats against the UEE.
  • Tactics and controls - New to Star Citizen? We're still learning too. Let's collectively help each other out. Officers and members alike will be available in TeamSpeak to answer all manner of questions

How?
  • Ensure you've downloaded the latest live patch for the SC client AND the latest version of TeamSpeak the night before. The SC client is large, so give yourself plenty of time dependent on your ISP.
  • Add TG Members to your 'follow' list on RSI to ensure you can see them in the Contacts List in game. This helped tremendously in our last meetup. Here's the list from last week, but will modify as others reply to this post declaring their attendance.

But I can't play! I can still listen in tho. Is that okay?

Yes, please do! We're a division so let's talk and dream about this game and what it hopes to be. There's lots to chat about and review about what's already in the game and what's coming in 3.0. Be a part of it! Spread the word to others who may not frequent the forum. See you there!

I can't make it this week. What about next week?

Yes! This is now a weekly occurrence at a set time (unless holidays or other cancellations are necessary). If you don't see anyone in TS at time, hop in anyways. That encourages others to join in. Form a group and decide what to play from there. Even if you can't make it on time or can't stay long, feel free to come and go as you need.

I'm in.  Where do I sign?  Does it have to be in blood?

Revised answer.  I'm in, but I'll probably run late because of the Capitals playoff game, which should end around 10pm Eastern (an hour after your start time).  I don't want to cause any marital strife here.

You can come late/leave early as needed. It's not even likely I can play that night as my in-laws will still be in town, BUT the benefit of that is a new office to play Star Citizen in going forward :) Pictures of that to come!

That's a pretty good silver lining.  I've started working from home a lot so I have my wife's tacit approval to move my gaming/office area to a better spot.  Maybe I'll try to make the change this weekend so I don't have to awkwardly whisper in the mic on Monday.

Go Leafs go

This ought to be fun.  One game in, things are looking good for me.  (disclaimer: I'm a terrible caps fan.  we haven't watched consistently since we had our first kid 5 years ago.  for the most part, we've only tuned in for the playoffs)

Haha yea, I haven't really followed much either. Something about the Leafs being so profitable (some terrible seats in Toronto sell for over $100) and they can't seem to pull through. Though this year they've done a lot better. Though Toronto teams always seem to be cursed and throw it in the early play-off games :/

Though I do have Monday off work, so I may actually hop in game. It'll be the first time I'm doing anything but the hangar. I should probably patch up and try and find my joy stick.

Hoping to make it tonight (well, tomorrow night to me since I haven't slept yet). Also, is anyone else excited at 3.0 allegedly at the end of June? That would make a hell of a birthday present.

I had the same thought.  I have a June birthday, too.  It's probably a false hope that it would actually be in time for that, though.
