((As a side note, I highly recommend adding Althea to your Diplomacy team, if not making her lead Ambassador if you don't have one. She has proven to be my counterpart in bringing our guilds together and making sure both sides advance toward a cool event. We're working on everything on our side. We'll give you details shortly once everything is evened out and we'll coordinate everything.))

{{OOC: At this time, we're fleshing out the ideas of the event. We will then present them to you for approval. We aim to make this as exciting as possible for the guilds involved. And we can coordinate ideas once our side is etched in stone. Hope things are going well for the Guardians :) }}

--CONNECTING TO BELSAVIS CELL BLOCK DATABASE--
--HEAVY ENCRYPTION CODE GRANTED--
--DECODING ENCRYPTED INFORMATION--
--CELL BLOCK: B6-391-34XC ACCESSED--
--DOWNLOADING ITEM ROSTER--
--PLEASE WAIT--
--DOWNLOAD COMPLETE--

REPUBLIC SECURITY NOTICE:
BLACK ICE Slicing Defense initiated.

--DETAILS DELETED BY UNKNOWN THIRD-PARTY--
--DETAILS EDITED BY REPUBLIC SECURITY FORCES--
This message has been fitted with enhanced-encryption due to tampering from an unknown source during the chaos of the Belsavis prison break.
This is the sole copy of this manifest--identification of this cell depends solely on this data.
The information within this message is no longer considered reliable by the Belsavis prison network.
Because of this, all prisoners are on strict lockdown.
Details of this message have been revised in order to protect Republic security needs.
Investigation of this event has been postponed until Belsavis is considered fully secure.
Transfer of these prisoners put off until Imperial fleet presence removed or appropriate support from reinforcements.

 CELL BLOCK B6-391-34XC
ITEM CELLS: 23
ACTIVE USE: 13
SECURITY LEVEL: HIGH
CELL BLOCK FUNCTION: This cell block is for prisoners reacquired after prison break who are scheduled for transport [EDITED] for reasons of [EDITED]. Their terms are considered life sentences. All prisoners should be considered extremely dangerous. Prisoners are not allowed to speak. Prisoners are not to have contact with outside world until transport [EDITED] is secured. All Republic personnel on Belsavis are to defend these prisoners at all costs.

<Most of the prisoners appear to have been performing varied terrorist or pirate acts against either Imperial or Republic forces--or both--though they lean more toward Imperial hostility. They're either psychotic or have strong political beliefs outside of both the Empire and the Republic--but a majority appear to have been hired by the Hutt Cartel. Information is hidden by the black ice--being protected and stored in Republic databases. Other information appearing to have Imperial involvement has been deleted--in it's place there are complex slicing codes with malicious scripts. There is a presence inside the code--blocking locations from the Republic black ice's influence. The black ice stands a wall to it's darkness. Both the Republic and another force has subjected their power in amending these files. It is obvious these prisoners hold political gains for both factions. Though what exactly they have is difficult to ascertain. Upon scanning, this prisoner appears to have more blocked information than the rest...>

PRISONER #728-29-1905X -- CELL THREE

NAME: [EDITED]
ALIAS: Harddrive
SPECIES: Human
OCCUPATION: Former [DELETED] slicer.

SUSPECTED OFFENSES AGAINST THE REPUBLIC: Treason. Destruction of Republic property. Three counts murder of Republic personnel. Grand theft of Republic ship. Theft of [EDITED] Guild Registry [EDITED] manifests and withholding of Imperial [DELETED] records. Suspected Hutt Cartel ties and contacts. Possession of illegal cybernetic implant. Slicing R.G.R. [EDITED] networks.

KNOWN OFFENSES AGAINST THE EMPIRE: Treason. [EDITED] counts murder of [DELETED] Military Organization [DELETED] Office personnel and civilians. Theft of Imperial [DELETED] records. Grand theft of Imperial ship. Kidnapping of Imperial civilian staff. Possession of illegally implanted, unregistered cybernetic device stolen from [DELETED] services. Slicing [DELETED] networks.

OTHER INFORMATION: Prisoner claims cybernetic device was implanted by the Hutt Cartel against his will, but this has yet to be determined. It is believed that this prisoner was sent as a spy by the Hutt Cartel to be able to provide [EDITED] information for infiltration or blackmail purposes. This prisoner was apprehended from a [EDITED] shuttle by Republic [EDITED] teams. Supposedly condemned to execution by Imperial forces.

CRITICAL INFORMATION {BLACK-ICE PROTECTED}: Prisoner's cybernetic implant will kill him if removed without proper surgical knowledge--data shouldn't be compromised if done correctly and it could be kept in tact. If attempts are made to access the data without the proper slicing codes, the data will erase and the prisoner will die. This prototype implant has an amazing amount of data--utilizing synapses and brain functions to store information. In order to upload, two enhanced connections will need to be established with ARC-Ultrabite storage devices. These backpacked units have the capability of downloading the data in full, but would need to be carried by two technicians. The prisoner is willing to allow us to access the data if the promise of a proper surgery is granted. This should be done before any off world transport, but we do not have the supplies necessary--the surgery is risky and the prisoner may die as a result.

OOC: The Guardians are now aware--through this manifest--that the Empire has probable vested interest in a prisoner located on Belsavis. They're aware that this informant also carries with it the possibility of destabilizing the Republic war-effort. The prisoner has accessed two systems, one belonging to the Republic Guild Registry--the other most likely to the Imperial's counterpart, though it may be something different. This states this informant may have access to the rosters of both the Guardians and Echelon Seven, or other Republic and Imperial organizations--in his head. This idea will give both forces the ability to have reason in RP to identify each other on the battlefield if intercepted. This grants knowledge of leadership as well as member base--and information regarding class and levels.

There are two methods of retrieving the data: Cut it out, possibly killing the prisoner--but attaining the information in tact, able to be carried by one of your members alone. Or attain technicians to retrieve the data and have it carried by two through the event. This gives both the Imperial forces and the Republic forces the need to intercept and keep, defend and retrieve the data. And an interesting moral choice for your teams. If your member is knocked unconcious (killed), one of the Echelon need approach and roleplay retrieving the data. Otherwise, if they are captured--we must roleplay their imprisonment and extraction to a predetermined point. Your forces must carry the data to a predetermined point for extract without allowing us to intercept it.

We can discuss this further and elaborate on the mechanics. I'm merely letting you guys know our ideas and posting the dossier for your reading pleasure. Heh. If other items are discussed, it can be amended to suit our needs. Ravenous will be responding as well. We can also meet in-game with your leaders to discuss everything OOC and show you the place we were thinking would be most epic for this.

We'd love to make this event work with a respectable guild such as yourselves, so let's see what we can come up with!

Declaration of War!

Candles fluttered upon dying wicks--sparking their painful throes before letting darkness take over. Blackrobe appeared as a pool of blackness within blackness--coiled like a resting snake in his chamber. There was another presence within--a darker one--it filled the shadows with the heartbeat of the Dark Side. The conversation with his former Master, Darth Haedra, replayed over and over in his mind--as though a spell being memorized by the sorcerer; it was cycled until completely over-analyzed. Red eyes opened beneath a shadowy cowl--slightly unfocused after hours of meditation. They blinked slowly--then sharpened and narrowed with intent. "So it begins," his voice parted the silence of the chamber like a fang--injecting into the air a venomous promise, "These Jedi will be crushed beneath the Echelon's march."

The Sith made a commanding gesture--willing the Force to engage a switch on the recording unit--a blue-white beam sheathed his huddled shape in pale radiance. Whether by interference within the message--or by the exuded power of Blackrobe's magic--he appeared to the viewer as though hovering in meditative posture. His presence upon the Force was a devouring, seething hatred--black robes smoked spidery tendrils of smoldering Dark Side. Cowl raised to lift the hem from blocking his eyes--orbs like fiery red embers, disembodied within his empty cowl. The sorcerer stated simply in mock sorrow, "You have failed in your duty to your Republic, Master Althea. You have not adequately expressed the urgent need for our cooperation. In your weakness, you have suffered the curse of your Jedi ways--and have been swayed by your Council into abandoning what is necessary to maintain order and respect. Your willingness to blindly accept the denial of the Belsavis codes proves your ineptitude."

The cowl inclined sharply--the eyes narrowed to glare through slits. His voice held no care or human compassion, "Your Council acts against the vested interests of my Masters. The prisoners you protect are rightfully ours. They are terrorists and traitors of our Empire--and your Republic is attempting to steal the justice our citizen's demand. You have abandoned our measures to negotiate this without bloodshed as your Republic performs acts of war against us without reason. Most of all, you have abandoned your own people--and the return of their fallen--a closure to their grief. Your Council has used you to harm all but themselves in their pursuit of war. " The cowl tilts slightly to the side--as he whispers mockingly, "I hope you recognize this, Master Althea. You have been the catalyst to destabilize everything and thrust your Republic into dark times."

Blackrobe paused a moment, as though the information he was about to speak was grave. He raised a slender, white hand--the sleeve of his robe peeled back in the motion--as he aimed a finger to those he addressed. The air about him thickened with smoke--tendrils of dark-force lightning slid sinuously down his arm to collect at his fingertip. "I am Darth Ravenous. Agent of the Archons of Echelon Seven. Under the Imperial Military Organization act, we have been sworn to protect the will of the Emperor--and have been employed for the Empire's purpose in this situation. We will retrieve the stolen prisoners to be executed under Imperial law--not to be used by the corrupt plans of the Jedi. Belsavis is our battleground--but this will spread to other planets like a plague--for you have decided your fate." Ravenous spat the following words with disgust, "You stand in the way of our war machine, Guardians. Prepare to engage our wrath."

A blast of terrible energy struck out from his fingertip--destroying the holorecorder in a shower of sparks--and bursting the transmission into empty static.

OOC: Echelon Seven has declared war on the Guardians. This should spice up our diplomacy :P We can discuss terms of this war as time advances. Please recognize this is an RP war and while it will definitely lead to in-game battles and skirmishes--we are not looking to hurt our friendship with the Guardians or discontinue our experiences OOCly with respect. Please inform us of any questions or concerns regarding this issue; please contact Haedra, Ordaerus or myself. We'll be happy to clarify and help things be as exciting and cool as possible for both sides! Good luck guys and see you in-game!

Also, regarding our coming event and future events--as well as any RP-PVP conflict we may have--don't hesitate to have tricks up your sleeve to make this exciting for both sides ;)

"Master, I'm sorry to disturb you but there is a priority message coming in on the Holo. It is a retransmission on the Guardian encryption frequency."

The lights in the Captain's Quarters of the "Coronet Belle" flickers to life. A groggy Jaedric Caine stirs in his bed and squints at the sudden brightness.

”That damned droid. If it weren't for priority holos coming in all hours from hell and back I swear I'd deactivate him,” the captain thought.

“Master? Did you hear me Master? Curse the maker of this bucket of bolts. Master?”

“Hey! Watch what you say about my girl C9!” the Captain growled.

”What time is it anyway?”

”The time is 0240 Galactic Standard Time, Master.”

“Great... why do all the important things happen right in the middle of a good dream?” the Captain sighed. He pulled the sheets back and wearily swung his legs over the side of the bed. He stood up and then made his way down the corridor to the Holoprojector in the main lounge. He gave a  sideways glare and grumbled under his breath as he passed the protocol droid who rousted him from his rest.

”I am terribly sorry Master. I know how much you hate being interrupted during your rest cycle. It is a priority one message.”  The droid paused a moment to survey the Captain's demeanor. ”I'll get you a cup of Caf.” the sullen droid said as he turned to the galley.

“Aren't you forgetting something? Replay the damned message C9” muttered the irritated Captain.

”Oh yes! Forgive me again Master! I'll replay the damned message for you now.”

At this Jaedric cracked a wry smile.

”That personality modification was so worth it.” he thought.

The droid returned shortly with a cup of Caf as Jaedric studied the message from the Sith lord. The image flared brightly and vanished.

”What a frightful character,” mused the droid.

”I have to hand it to them. Those Sith sure have a flair for the dramatic,” Jaedric said in a casual tone. He then glanced over at the twin lightsabers resting in his trophy case.

”These Sith lords depend on fear. They try to be as scary looking and intimidating as possible to make enemies cower at their sight. In the end, they all die like the rest of us.” he stated as his gaze broke from the trophy case. Thoughts of the Sith who attacked him on Tatooine flooded his mind. She was tough to be sure but now all that is left of her were the lightsabers she so intently tried to kill him with prominently displayed with artifacts of other would be assassins.

His mind then snapped back to the matter at hand.

”C9, access Guardian command intel on this “Echelon Seven”. I want names, dealings, you name it. If they sneezed on a world and we have intel on it I want to know. I want locations of known sightings. Get word to Master Althea that I want to speak with her.” Jaedric set his cup down and started for his quarters to get dressed.

”Get me another cup of Caf and put some whiskey in it. It's time to go to work,” he said as he passed the protocol droid.

”And get me a line to the Guardian Council!” Jaedric yelled from down the corridor.

”If it's war they want, we'll be ready for 'em”

Jaedric Caine- Gunslinger: "Got 99 problems but a Sith ain't one."

Sai'iri Caine- Powertech Hunter: "You had better run, because you can't hide."
Xylrath-Sith Assassin: "You could no sooner avoid my wrath than you could your own shadow."
"The early bird may get the worm, but it's the second mouse who gets the cheese."
