General Discussion / Re: Marvel Cinematic Universe

I still liked IM3 more than IM2. And The mini film centering on Trevor in prison confirmed that the real Mandarin is still out there. They can really go all out with the character in the future.

Yeah, I think Brie Larson is the biggest casting error they've made. Her performance ability does not have the range to carry a superhero film, much less a franchise like Downey or Evans can.

I dig this one. I also appreciated they kept the full title out of the video title. Unfortunately it was revealed by leeches like IGN who reposted it.

I did a long needed refresh of the front page posts.

I'm less enthusiastic about Captain Marvel. Will likely wait for video on that one.

Thanks for that. Due to all sorts of bugs at the times I tried to log in during the free fly, I was unable to make it to Lorville in time. Plus I was out of town for most of it. Didn't get to try out the Arrow, but I think I'm gonna my Dragonfly into one to finally have a decent fighter in my fleet.

I thought it looked good until the director started going on a political tirade against fans who didn't support his approval of the terrorist hate group Antifa. Attacking fans on Twitter when you should be promoting your product is never a good idea. Marvel already fired one writer of theirs for doing something similar this year.

Aside from that the movie looks fun for sure.

But real talk....yall remember how we ran SWTOR in our prime??? I expect..nay DEMAND the same!

Those were some fun times.   in our peaks in SWTOR everyone was able to do the content they wanted to do.

I fully expect that we will have the same opportunities in SC!

For us newbies (five years and counting! Ha!) we'll need crash courses on that was like.

According to Brasse later on in the thread all the games, including Rift, are staying until said otherwise. Usually when a MMO sunsets, they give you a month or more lead time, with official press release. Rift still managed to make some money I suspect (or if would have died long ago) so it'll still trudge along.

Hey all,

CitizenCon is this week, Wednesday Oct 10, marking six years that we've been at this thing.

The livestream, despite prior announcements, is completely free to watch, but only through embedded Vimeo on the RSI site, requiring you to login.

I've set up a temporary #citcon channel in Discord > Star Citizen for those watching along or want to discuss things as they watch throughout the week when they get to it. Should be some fun stuff, so join for the laughs, cringes, and awesome reveals that CitCon usually provides. It should be the biggest presentation they've ever done, given that they took a rest from their GDC presentation this year.

You can also share thoughts and discussion in this thread too.

I forgot to share this after initially sharing it in Discord a month ago. TexasSkulls, another member and Twitch streamer is the author of this app. He even coded it live stream.

Given he has a full time day job, I would not expect a mobile app anytime soon since it's a one man job,but here's hoping for the future!

Here's a helpful splice someone made from the cutout and additional images.

One thing I shared with Brish, our sole owner of a Crusader Genesis Starliner, the other night is I believe they'll roll out the crawl space mechanic mentioned in the Mercury to the Genesis as well. Imagine how awesome that would be! Who knows if they'll even add smuggling spots in that thing as well. It's a great cover and adds more gameplay options than were conceived before. I seem to recall crawl spaces were a gimmick used in Air Force One with Harrison Ford, but please correct my memory on that one. It's been awhile.

Star Citizen / Crusader Industries Mercury Star Runner

This past Friday the Mercury was officially revealed for concept sale.

Starting on Wednesday, the lore post On the Run featured a rather good story of Not-Han and Not-Chewy in their Millennium Falcon Belligerent Duck.

The concept reveal page called Join The Manhunt features a now daily game where you search the ARK Starmap for the ship's current location. Once you punch in the coords into the page, you get the option of either alerting the Advocacy or warning the pair to get out of Dodge.

Doing either earns you a badge. I think doing it your preferred side will grant more points to the slider (which is supposed to be working but rarely displays right). Doing either will unlock the Duck skin to your hangar, which is pretty cool. I assume they are their fate to the players in this fashion. It will also unlock either a Advocacy or "smuggling" skin in the final tally. If you are a completest, vote on the opposite side at least once to get both titles added to your account.

Here's the current location list, listed as a Spoiler. I'll try to update this every so often, but there's lists on Spectrum or Reddit if you lose patience.

I am loosely planning to get one? Have you secured one? Considering it? Share your thoughts!

Yeah totally using that, like Team Canada but TG Canada.

Make it happen! I'm of no authority in those parts :)

Largely focusing on finishing up some school work, but when I can, I'll get a match in of solo match of PUBG, WWI Series, Stellaris single player, and BATTLETECH campaign as I can squeeze them in, however unlikely on the latter two.
