Tannenberg has officially released today.

Also, Verdun's map UI has been vastly improved to match Tannenberg's, but the main menu is still the old one, which I suspect they'll get to once the Tannenberg release bugs are wrinkled out. Still just as unforgiving as always!

Are we talking about "the" DAOC?  The venerable yet ancient DAOC?

The one and only, on a private server that is quite well run. LOTS of people on it. I'm just hopping in for the nostalgia as it was me entry into MMO's.

I hadn't been playing Crowfall as of late cause it was hard to solo with my schedule, plus my lack of understanding or time to look into what I can solo. Hoping my schedule opens up more for multiplayer, but it's rough right now.

Albion, Lancelot server here!

I had a level 22 (I think) Human Merc there, which is how I got my feet wet in MMO's in preparation for SWG.

A lot of people are chatting up on Discord text channels, which pulls a little from the forums, so that could explain the quiet. As for the wait for an MMO, we're all feeling it! But there's still other multiplayer gaming happening.

Welcome back!

I never was a part of TG back then but I do remember their presence, or really the player city on Starsider. Our single division of Star Citizen right now hopes to relive a lot of the freedom Galaxies brought.

I still liked IM3 more than IM2. And The mini film centering on Trevor in prison confirmed that the real Mandarin is still out there. They can really go all out with the character in the future.

Yeah, I think Brie Larson is the biggest casting error they've made. Her performance ability does not have the range to carry a superhero film, much less a franchise like Downey or Evans can.

I dig this one. I also appreciated they kept the full title out of the video title. Unfortunately it was revealed by leeches like IGN who reposted it.

I did a long needed refresh of the front page posts.

I'm less enthusiastic about Captain Marvel. Will likely wait for video on that one.

Thanks for that. Due to all sorts of bugs at the times I tried to log in during the free fly, I was unable to make it to Lorville in time. Plus I was out of town for most of it. Didn't get to try out the Arrow, but I think I'm gonna my Dragonfly into one to finally have a decent fighter in my fleet.

I thought it looked good until the director started going on a political tirade against fans who didn't support his approval of the terrorist hate group Antifa. Attacking fans on Twitter when you should be promoting your product is never a good idea. Marvel already fired one writer of theirs for doing something similar this year.

Aside from that the movie looks fun for sure.

But real talk....yall remember how we ran SWTOR in our prime??? I expect..nay DEMAND the same!

Those were some fun times.   in our peaks in SWTOR everyone was able to do the content they wanted to do.

I fully expect that we will have the same opportunities in SC!

For us newbies (five years and counting! Ha!) we'll need crash courses on that was like.

According to Brasse later on in the thread all the games, including Rift, are staying until said otherwise. Usually when a MMO sunsets, they give you a month or more lead time, with official press release. Rift still managed to make some money I suspect (or if would have died long ago) so it'll still trudge along.

Hey all,

CitizenCon is this week, Wednesday Oct 10, marking six years that we've been at this thing.

The livestream, despite prior announcements, is completely free to watch, but only through embedded Vimeo on the RSI site, requiring you to login.

I've set up a temporary #citcon channel in Discord > Star Citizen for those watching along or want to discuss things as they watch throughout the week when they get to it. Should be some fun stuff, so join for the laughs, cringes, and awesome reveals that CitCon usually provides. It should be the biggest presentation they've ever done, given that they took a rest from their GDC presentation this year.

You can also share thoughts and discussion in this thread too.
